Pretty fun game! I liked the fishes that help you out when you really need em. I'm also glad you can hold onto the mouse instead of clicking individually otherwise this game would be impossible! I also recommend adding more soundtracks or at least a mute button. The audio portal here has tons of music you can use for this game.

Nice work, keep it up!

Thanks for you great review. The song there is just a place holder for now but thanks for the advice i will definitely check out the audio portal. Stay tuned for more updates :)

This submission is exemplary.

Indeed one can see why "Pyroscape" has earned the full ten. There is a bounty of action, spectacular visuals, sensational humor, and a broad diversity of game play to be experienced. Moreover this submission deserves praise for it's educational value for safety and good health; calling the player an idiot while trying to touch a burning object is a stroke of brilliance and humanistic concern. Words cannot describe the rush from confronting each successive trial and trying to avoid a horrific, fiery demise.

A MUST PLAY.

Fro responds:

It's important that our youth is educated properly. :)

I like what you're doing here Rohan and Corky :)

Honestly up until now I never thought that the NGPD would have it's own place in a flash submission aside from the one made by Zekey [which is filled with LIES] :P You did a very nice job explaining each crew and the proper etiquette for posting. I'm very pleased with the informative value. Heck, even I learned a thing or two! However I would've liked to have had a broader choice in audio.
Visuals were simple and non-flamboyant, which is actually preferable in this kind of flash.

Thanks for the flash guys! Hopefully this will attract more potential recruits :)
*salute*

Thanks for the review Tails, glad you liked it!

Probably could have included audio selection, definitely something to look at in the future.

This is real good stuff Rohan and Corky

This was indeed better than the first one, it's much more expansive and contains a lot of tips for maximizing one's chances of increasing their whistle points. I especially liked the quiz part, what a wonderful idea!

Overall, a commendable effort to assist our fellow NG'ers towards better serving the portal. If you ever plan on turning this project into a trilogy, would you mind if I participate? Anyways, awesome submission!

... and tell Corky it wasn't his fault :)

RohantheBarbarian responds:

I don't know about a trilogy, but I shall certainly keep it in mind.

I am happy that the leader of the NGPD found this helpful, and thanks for the review.

Nice work

I think its about time Newgrounds got a flash on how to properly whistle submissions, so this is a job well done and many users will find this very handy. It was pretty in-depth and contains your personal account so the audience knows why they should avoid screwing up lol. I'll be looking forward to the improved version too :)

10/10!

RohantheBarbarian responds:

Thanks for reviewing, glad you liked it!

The sequel covers different topics than this one, and should be submitted either today or tomorrow, keep an eye out for it!

Yay NG Yearbook of '06!

Pretty funny photos and stuff, some pics confused me though :P I like my spot on the center of the 3rd page on the signatures.... too bad my name looks like crap XD Good work on the memory book, it was definitely worth the lolz!

Prellz responds:

Thanks a bunch! ^_^

One of the best sonic games i've ever played! It's even better than some of Sega's stuff back in those days! Thank you for such a wonderful flash game man! BTW, i went undefeated against the M.S alien's ass on all the levels, talk about pwnage! I hope you make another one with the Sonic Advanced sprites ^_^ Fuckin awesome work.

Digimaks responds:

Thanks, dude!
Well, all characters has the same AI (just a different skin- MS alien, robotnik, ect!) It used to be hard, when my AI was attacking and running.
So I loosened up AI.

Once I get some time to spare, I'll be working on second encounter game.
But SORRY- no Sonic Advanced sprites, cause they don't match the genesis spritesheets at all -(1- black outlines, 2- color pallate is wack, 3- they look flat like a coockey cutter :) 4- they are tab smaller than gens sprites, which will force me to scale them= overpixelation will occur :).
so I'd rather use the same sprites and credit the same dudes, not to get troubles :)

TEH Violence and fun-ness(?)

Oh boy, that was fun, beating up the tax man was a great way to relieve whatever stress i had in me. I, however, would like more clickable parts like the other cheek. man this pwns!! The art was great too! Hehe, he DEFINITELY wont live past this day. He messed with the best.

MiddleFingerRings responds:

Damn straight, violence is fun in cartoons isn't it? Gotta luv it, thx for reviewing

Wow, that was a tough one

And it actually required some strategy to beat it! Good work on this one, im TRUELY impressed! Keep it up, man!

BlackDevilX responds:

Thanx man!

I actually enjoyed it!

I dont know what made me vote high, was it the fact that i could make clocks/locks stab eachother? Or was it the fact that it had tolerable music in it? Was it because it was GOOD?! *gasp* Whatever it was, I liked it!

PSPClock responds:

lol!
