Great track, adventurous and bold. It transitioned well throughout and didn't feel choppy. The bass melodies were well done. Just a few things:
1.) the precussions more present, not necessarily louder. It sounded just a little lacking.

2.) the voices just sound out of place especially after repeating several times. Then again I'm more of an instrumental guy myself lol so I may be biased. Perhaps cutting and sampling bits and pieces of the voice lines to match the track could work better?

3.) Definitely seconding on Horsen's input regarding the hi hats. Not gonna beat a dead horsen about that...hue.

Overall I enjoyed this one a lot! Keep up the great work if you plan on making more! Hopefully you do!

PaulyBFromDa303 responds:

Yeah I really focused on the bass here. I found a way to make that "wah-wah" bass that I've wanted for so long. The voice clips were something new I wanted to try. I've done something like that once before (Sonic & Knux Death Egg, 2008). But never anything like this. There were complicated settings, volume issues, either Tails or Sonic being inaudible. Something I'll definitely have fun learning.

Thank you for the review. Means a lot. I'm just getting started . . . . again

Catchy and somewhat nostalgic

I definitely caught the resemblance to that track you used in the Great Weed Drought of '03, specifically the acid + alcohol binge scene. The rhymes are relentless and make my groin itch.

Sexual-Lobster responds:

yup its a direct remix of that song

Well done, I see potential

I think this piece sets the perfect mood for virtually every build up horror scene. Ominous, but not audacious - a masterful balance of tension and subtlety that does justice for any dark cinematic situation. Better still, it loops very well, I wouldn't be able to tell if I heard this in a movie.

SilentCobra responds:

Wow, thanks Tails. I thought it did that as well. I don't know why some people are griping just because it's short, it makes no sense to gripe about the length if you ask me. Anyway, thanks again.

It does make me happy.

Your comments perfectly envisions the mood for this piece so all those cheery images have been floating in my head. I wish life could be like this song a little more often, ya know?

Nice work.

einbiegel responds:

glad to make you happy :D
that's what I do you know..

thanks,
Einb.

You have every reason to be proud of this one.

Ah it's been too long since I wrote you a review. But in all honesty, this is easily the greatest display of your skill and prowess for music. I hope this piece gets the praise and veneration that it deserves.
I can see it now... some Zelda fan making a flash will jump for joy once they hear this melody, promptly followed by a swift download and importation to their flash file.

A powerful and emotionally moving masterpiece that could only be bestowed upon by the great LimblessAvenger himself.

As always, 10/10 AND I MEAN IT THIS TIME! " :)

LimblessAvenger responds:

tails, i really appreciate that, man. i hope you're right and thanks for the 10

It would've sounded much better if...

you used something other than that plain piano sound in the beginning. If the piano resonated more or use something more "electronic" then it would've fit with the rest of the track. Other than that, I think this is a pretty good start.

Pyroific responds:

well, your right. i know the piano was pretty weak, but i just wanted to put something new on here. :P

Techno masterpiece

I can come up with a few reasons why you're leaving the NG Audio Portal and one of them is right in this audio's description. All I can say at this point is that you've made one Hell of an exit from the NG scene. This is what I call true "Godlike Techno". Good luck, XsToRmEr1, wherever you're headed. May your life be filled with musical success.

-Tails

XsToRmEr1 responds:

Thank you.

yo :)

V man dis is some tight shit you've made! And from your responses, I've come to the conclusion that it's good that you have such high standards when making your tracks, cuz that only makes you better AND BETTER! And honestly, I've never heard anything quite like this. So keep up the V work!

Viewtiful-Masta responds:

True true! Yes this song was o..k...but it wasn't that V as it was suppose to be. I worked real hard on this song but all turned out like shit.(XP) But im remaking it, Cause I didn't like this version.

Thanks alot V TP man!

Keep it V TP!

Uhhh....yeh. Is there any special reason why you named this "Jarett's theme"? Man this was really weird... just plain weird lol. Nice work :D

LimblessAvenger responds:

Probably because my buddy Jarett made it up T_T
