Well I watched Lucky Star on youtube, you can watch all the episodes there. Remember to include eng subtitles in your search if you want to understand what they're saying. Someday I might get the DVDs just so I don't have to put up with youtube's crap quality :P
I've yet to see it on my TV though, but I'm not looking forward to the typical butchering of English dubs anyways. American voices generally don't work with Japanese animation.
Hope you enjoy the show! Just a fair warning, the first episode's kinda boring, but the series as a whole is very well worth it IMO.
