Yup, Army pulled a fast one on me again. I was told that tomorrow I'm gonna have to support an EOD training operation for about a week. I was given a packing list this afternoon. Pretty last minute, even by Army standards, but this ain't nothing new.

So yeah if you're at all wondering where I've gone, I'm somewhere out there watching people blow shit up.

Yep. Today marks my 10th NG birthday. A whole decade now. Ahh, back then I was a dumb 13 year old with a hot head and a sensitive streak a mile wide. This place sure fixed that in good time. Looking back it's really crazy how much I've grown and how far I've gotten. I'm not one for long drawn out speeches but I will say that who I am today was largely influenced by the time I've spent and the experiences I've had in the crucible of the BBS, specifically General and C&C. And for that I'm grateful.

A big part of me (cock) belongs to NG. I love this site and I only wish to see it flourish in the coming years.

Also I just bought the 2015 supporter thing. I've now spent over $100 on this place.

So I graduated AIT back in early August, completing my training to become a 68W (fancy Army code referring to medics) and not a moment too soon. After our platoon sergeants dismissed us, I literally went up and grabbed my bags, went straight to the nearest available taxi, and hauled ass to the airport to go home for about 2 weeks.

Fast forwarding to now, I'm stationed in Schofield Barracks on the island of O'ahu, Hawaii for 3 years. It's not bad here, gotta say. I'm treated a lot better and most of the sergeants around here are pretty chill. One of the main problems here is that everything's fucking expensive in Hawaii, it's a good thing we get bonus overseas pay to make up for that. The weather's a lot nicer than it was in San Antonio. It tends to spontaneously drizzle/rain a lot here, but the frequency of rainbows appearing kinda makes up for it. I haven't done anything really cool yet like surfing or scuba diving yet, but I've got time for that later.

Idk, go ahead and ask me stuff if you got any questions and whatnot. I just wanted to put up another newspost.

So yeah, Army basic training's history now. Made Honor Grad AND received a promotion to PFC, highspeedfaggot hooah. I'm about 6 weeks into AIT, the secondary training that's preparing me for my job as a combat medic which I enlisted in. It sucks, especially since it tends to be obnoxiously humid here in San Antonio. They won't let us drink <:(

Hopefully I'll make it through AIT without a hitch, though internet is very effective in leading me to procrastination. I also tend to draw ponies on my notebooks during class which takes my mind off the stress they're putting us under. But yeah, not much else to say. Getting by, day by day. Can't wait to graduate and get sent to my first duty station!

Gonna miss some of you, BUT NOT REALLY (fuck you Tai-...) I hope y'all keep me somewhere in that decrepit shell you call a heart. I've got a lotta suck to look forward to.
